The Range Rover Velar has been named the most beautiful car in the world, winning the World Car Design of the Year title at the 2018 World Car Awards, selected by a jury of 82 motoring journalists this past March.

It's certainly a beautiful ride: sleek, smooth and polished, it's the perfect blend of suit-and-tie class and aggressive athleticism.

The Velar and other Jaguar Land Rover vehicles will be present at this year's EY World Entrepreneur of the Year Awards in Monaco next month. It's a perfect partnership given the high-standard the two esteemed brands have.

In addition, acomplished entrepreneurs from over 50 countries will be making their way to the awards in Monaco.

And speaking of awards, Jaguar Land Rover has been receiving plenty of them as of late. In addition to their good looks, Jaguar Land Rover vehicles are winning over hearts and minds, too.

In an annual ranking of brand intimacy, which measures the emotional connectivity that consumers have with brands, carmakers Jaguar and Land Rover took the top two spots on the list, outranking other world-class brands like Hermes, according to an April 2018 brand intimacy report covered by WWD.

The automaker continues to win hearts, minds and awards.

Videographer Alex Ratajczyk and I will be on the ground in Monaco for the EY entrepreneurial celebration, to drive the new Jaguar Land Rover vehicles along the The French Riviera—look for those stories over the next few weeks—and chat with Sebastian Peck, Managing Director of InMotion Ventures, Jaguar Land Rover’s mobility business and corporate venture capital arm, to discuss their next exciting frontier: the future of mobility, transportation and travel.
