Health insurance premiums SKYROCKETING for employees at Indiana car company because of Obamacare

Can you imagine your health insurance premiums going from $50 per week to $250 per week? Well that’s what is happening to employees at Aerotek in Indiana, a contractor for Toyota.

WEHT ABC reports that Toyota is no longer allowed to cover Aerotek under Obamacare, which is substantial because they were paying over 60% of Aerotek’s health care costs.

Now the premiums for some employees are skyrocketing. One employee told WEHT that they went to the Obamacare website looking for relief, but were unable to find it because open enrollment is now closed. It doesn’t reopen until November.

“Whenever you’re starting out there you know you aren’t making a ton of money, you’ll make good money but not a ton of money. And $200 a week, that’s a hefty chunk. I don’t care who you are. $200 a week is a hefty chunk. That’s a house payment, that’s a car payment, that’s all these bills grouped together. So, I don’t know what’s gonna happen.”
