This is my book report for the summer assignment on The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks. This assignment really sticks with me because it was interesting and engaging to read and get a preview on what we would be learning in my biology class.

This picture was when we did the toothpick-ase lab. This lab was the fist time that I was truly engaged in working with a group of people to finish a lab. This lab deepened my interest of working with other students in this class. It also taught me more about enzymes, and how temperature affects its reaction speed. https://imgur.com/a/9mUA6
This is a picture of the hand washing lab beets on day 4. This lab is special to me because it was the first lab we did in the class. I was really engaged during the whole lab, wondering what would happen to the beets. It also helped improve my laboratory and science skills.
