All eyes are on the Clippers for all the wrong reasons.

Late on Friday, TMZ released a purported recording in which Clippers owner Donald Sterling chastised his girlfriend for posting a photo with Magic Johnson to Instagram and generally being seen with Black people. (The girlfriend has Black and Latino heritage.) He told her she should not bring Blacks to "his games." This is just the latest in a long series of very racist moments in Sterling's life.

According to Vincent Bonsignore of the Los Angeles Daily NewsClippers players held a late-night meeting to discuss the issue once the news broke. Bonsignore also tweeted that players are (understandably) angry.

The Clippers face the Warriors in Game 4 in Oakland on Sunday. Sterling does not typically travel to away games. The next home game for the Clippers in the series will be Tuesday; if L.A. wins on Sunday, it could clinch in that game. Sterling does typically sit courtside for home Clippers games. It will be quite a scene if he does so on Tuesday. (Adam Silver is scheduled to attend the Sunday game in Oakland.)

It's also worth noting that the president of the National Basketball Players' Association is Chris Paul. Clippers guard Willie Green is also on the executive committee.
