THE GREAT TRESPASS God has assigned man with the task of taking care of the earth He had created. He told them they could have all the vegetables they wanted, all the fruit, and could eat from any tree in the entire garden except from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. God made this rule to protect his creation, not to control them. Man choose to rebel against God and did exactly what He told them not to do. So if a perfect setting between God and man was broken by man choosing his own desires above God's, why would someone want to follow this example of rebellion against God? The very one who created us who we know loves us, and we turn our backs to him and search for purpose in our so "relevant" lives here on earth. Existentialism is just another way to rebel against God and His purpose in your life by following your own heart and becoming your own god. It is exactly what separated man from God in the first place. This separation made it difficult for man to live for the creator because it was as if humanity didn't know their creator anymore. God made a way for us to come back to Him, even though we have rebelled, even though we've been striving to live for ourselves, and even though we have become evil. The Bible says that we became enemies of God and our hearts became corrupted. But there is one name under heaven by which every human being can be reconciled to God. He is the Son of God, the Messiah, the Prince of Peace, my King, my Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ.
