Two of the best characters from Marvel's spinoff TV series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. are getting a shot at their own show. ABC executive Paul Lee confirmed that the network is making a pilot for Marvel's Most Wanted, a project focused on S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Bobbi Morse (aka Mockingbird — above) and her sometimes-partner, mercenary Lance Hunter. "We're absolutely doing that one. I just announced that we're going to pilot on Marvel's Most Wanted, which is a spinoff," said Lee at the 2016 winter Television Critics Association press tour, according to IGN. "We love the script [...] We think it's going to be great. We're doing that in the next few months."

"An entirely new project solely focused on [Mockingbird and Hunter]"

The project's existence was first reported by Variety last year, but was not confirmed to be in production by ABC until now. According to Variety, Marvel's Most Wanted is "not a spinoff, per se, but rather an entirely new project solely focused on the two characters to continue their story." Unfortunately, that's about all we know about the project so far. Lee is confident that the script is "really good" (well he would be), but we're going to have to wait a bit longer to find out more. In the meantime, though, there's plenty more Marvel on the way — including the recently announced second season of Daredevil, hitting Netflix on March 18th.
