When you look at the biography of Joshua (Joshua) Ben Nun in the Torah and its supplements and compare it with the personality of the son of Abu Talib, the similarities in their personalities and the events happened to say that Joshua bin Nun was Ali Ibn Abi Talib himself, and this is what I mentioned in my research ( A personality that goes with time). The similarities are too many. From the pledge made by Moses and the children of Israel to Joshua, which the LORD commanded Moses to give him after him, he said to him, "Then Moses spoke to the LORD, saying, 'Let the LORD make a man over the congregation, that the congregation of the Lord may not be like sheep that have no shepherd: Take Joshua son of Nun, put your hand on him, and put him in front of all the congregation, and recommended him before their eyes. "(1) I make him a trustee and this is what Muhammad Baali Ibn Abi Talib did, where he stopped him in front of all his companions and gave him the commandment.   And when Joshua went to the battle of Gibeon, and the sun was closed on the sabbath, the Lord called to stop her, or to bring her back, until he had prayed in Morocco, and then she was gone. (O Shams Dumi on Gibeon, the sun stood in the liver of the sky did not hasten the sunset). (2) This is what happened with Ali Ibn Abi Talib when the sun stood in Babylon when he went to two rows. (3) When the army thirsted in the desert of Gibeon, Joshua blew up their eyes and drank from it. This is what Ali Ibn Abi Talib did with his army. Moses' followers turned to Joshua after the death of Moses and appointed the Samaritan as a successor to them and isolated Joshua. This is what happened with Ali Ibn Abi Talib.  Joshua fought a war with the pure wife of the Prophet Moses and caused a great murder and then captured and denied by Joshua, and this is what happened with Ali Ibn Abi Talib.  Zulfikar descended on Ali the son of Abi Talib from heaven, and Jibril shouted to him, and Joshua the son of Nun came to him a sword from heaven in the hand of an angelic spirit.  Many positions are similar to Joshua's and when I read them over and over again I would say that Elya himself was Joshua.   Sources and Explanations: 1 - Travel number 27: 18. 2 - The Book of Joshua 10: 12. 3 - Narrated by this hadeeth and corrected by Sunni scholars including (Tabarani, Tahawi, al-Qurtubi in his interpretation, Abu Zar'a, Ibn Hajar al-Haythami in the light, judge in his book, healing, and many others). They said that the sun stood up for Yoshah ibn Nun and Ali Ibn Abi Talib.
