Ryan Adams’ album of 1989 covers may be ready sooner than you thought. After teasing snippets of the songs on his social media for weeks, Adams posted an update that promised the final mix and master would be finished this week.

He also posted more behind-the-scenes photos from the studio.

Adams first announced the collection of covers in early August and said he would recreate Swift’s 2014 album in the style of The Smiths. In a statement to EW, Swift said, “When I first heard that Ryan was going to be covering my entire album, I couldn’t believe it. It’s such an honor that he would want to take my stories and lyrics and give them a new life.”

So far, Adams has teased clips of darker versions of “Out Of The Woods,” “All You Had Do Do Was Stay,” “Wildest Dreams,” “Style,” “Blank Space,” “Welcome To New York,” and “Bad Blood.”
