Game of Thrones' premiere on July 17 caused Pornhub to lose views. Last Sunday fans around the world tuned in to HBO to watch the highly anticipated Season 6 premiere of the fantasy drama. Adult entertainment site Pornhub crunched the numbers to determine what porn consumption was like during the show. Game of Thrones is such a juggernaut that it even creates a marked change on the searches and traffic over at Pornhub when it airs. Game of Thrones is so popular that it actually caused people to stop watching porn for an hour (well, at least some of us) by tearing eyeballs away from porn to tune into the twisted ongoings of Westeros. The debut episode of the HBO series' seventh season drew over 16 million viewers on Sunday night. While it was a great success for the show's network, Pornhub saw a dramatic decrease in views with their traffic plummeting to 4.5 percent on their most popular night.According to the site's data this year, Game of Thrones caused more people to temporarily abandon porn this year than last, when the Season 6 premiere caused viewership to drop by a meagre 4.1 percent. Enough eyeballs were diverted last year when the Season 6 finale made Pornhub's numbers drop by 5.2 percent.
