Whenever you go through the process of selling your car, you always have to be prepared for the worst, especially when it comes to handling money. Today, The Supercar Kids reported what has to be every private car seller's nightmare.

The Dubai police have been trying to find a man who has reportedly been using fake checks to buy cars from owners. Recently, he tricked an Egyptian man into selling him a Porsche Cayenne that was listed online for 200,000 AED (about $54,453) by using a fake check. When the owner went to cash the check, it bounced. To top it off, he then found his Cayenne for sale again on the same website.

The Cayenne owner said that the buyer pulled up in a Ferrari 458, which is why he seemed legitimate. Let's be vigilant folks, and make sure that the buyer and the money check out before letting them drive off your property.
