The Travel Video Awards (TVAs) run multiple annual awards programs worldwide that honor the premiere travel videos, series and films created by filmmakers, social media influencers, travel, lifestyle and media brands from across the globe.

2022
The first annual LatAm Travel Video Awards (2022 LatAm TVAs) took place May 19-20, 2022 in Medellin, Colombia. The 2022 LatAm TVAs honored videos, series and films about the Caribbean and Latin America that were released between January 1, 2019 and December 21, 2021.
The 2-day event offered the winners, jury and VIPs, a variety of experiences allowing them to dive deep in the local and regional culture through food, music, art and outdoor activities. On the first evening of the event, we celebrated Colombian flavor and culture. On the second night of the event, we honored and recognized all the winners.
2020
The third annual Global Travel Video Awards (TVAs) announced its winners on April 21, 2020. Submissions continued to grow with over 50 countries represented. The TVAs evolved as it introduced a jury, new sponsors and partners, new categories as well as the Steller Award in partnership with Steller.co – honoring multi-media storytelling. Brandon Li won both the NOMAD and Best Wanderlust Video awards for his film The Passion of Andalucia. The Audience Award for the Independent track went to Candice and Jean-Emmanuel Jay for North Eye Land of New Zealand, while Cascada Expediciones’ The Circuit won the award for the Industry track as well as Best Video by a Tourism Agency/Operator. 2022 LatAm TVAs

On the 2nd day of the event, the winners, jury and VIPs, explored the famous Comuna 13 area of Medellin that is nurturing incredible music and mural artists which was then followed by a lunch at Le Colosal that offered stunning views of Medellin. The afternoon was left free to wander across various areas of Medellin rich in music, food and art.
On the last evening of the event, we honored and celebrated all the winners with an awards dinner at IN SITU located inside Medellin’s stunning botanical gardens.

The 1st day of the event offered the winners, jury and VIPs, a variety of experiences allowing them to dive deep in the local and regional culture through food, music, art and outdoor activities that included the exploration of Alma Del Bosque and Ceramicas El Dorado.
On this first evening of the event, we celebrated Colombian flavor and culture with a rum tasting and dinner at Cata Del Ron.

Each month the TVAs features an interview with a filmmaker and a brand or agency creating relevant, inspiring, sometimes trendsetting, sometimes groundbreaking content in the travel video industry.
Shot on a backpacking trip, Simon Mulvaney’s The Hand of India is an immersive trip into the his experience there. Drenched in rich colors, he narrates his trip through the faces of the people he meets and the places he sees. The Travel Video Alliance spoke to him about developing the concept for the video, his influences, and more.
Well above Albany, tucked between Vermont and Canada, sits Long Lake.
