Fossil just announced four low-profile smartwatches that are set join a flood of wearables that won’t crest until at least the end of the year. The latest watches to join Fossil’s Q line include the Q Crewmaster, Q Gazer, Q Nate and Q Tailor. These devices land in the “hybrid” niche of watches, combining tech from conventional watches and activity monitors.

There’s more than meets the eye with each of these unassuming smartwatches. Each one employs a contemporary watch design. However, embedded in the cores of these timepieces are activity trackers and Bluetooth radios for swapping information with smartphones.

These watches’ will track time, sleep, and activity for up to six months on a coin cell battery. You can also set activity goals and establish a second time zone — they’ll automatically adjust to your primary timezone.

Each of the four new watches support Fossil’s Q Link technology, which gives you remote control over your smartphone. It’s limited, but you can use them to ring a lost phone, control music, and snap photos from afar.

Honestly the difference between these watches only appears to be skin deep. The Q Crewmaster is said to be the more rugged of the bunch, with its “strong stainless steel,” while the Q Nate is more metro with its urban aesthetic. The Q Tailor brings “fresh femininity,” doing so with a design Fossil says takes minimalism to the max, and the Q Gazer is made for “the girl who loves a subtle shine to stand out in the crowd.” Basically, your options are aesthetic.

The watches are all compatible with Android 4.4 and up, as well as iOS 8.2 and later. They’re also compatible with a range of fitness platforms that includes Google Fit, Apple Health, Under Armour’s UA Record, and Jawbone’s UP.

The newest members of the Q crew start at $175. They go on sale at Fossil stores on Sept. 14 and online on Sept. 24.

Fossil plans to release more than 100 wearable devices before the year comes to a close, and they’ve kept that campaign moving forward as recently as a few days ago, closing out August with the Q Wander and Q Marshal.
