The Top Cyber Monday Wearable Tech Deals

Following
This article is more than 8 years old.

Black Friday has come and gone but that doesn’t mean the online deals bonanza has finished.

Cyber Monday is here and, as we’re on the eve of December, there are plenty of wearable tech Christmas bargains to be had.

Here are 5 of the top wearable tech deals we’ve found and, don’t worry, we’ve made sure these are genuine bargains and not just reductions on items that had their prices yanked up ahead of the big sale week.

Pebble Time

The darling of Kickstarter – the updated Pebble pays homage to all the things that people loved about the original – great battery life, plenty of apps, cross-platform smartphone compatibility and, of course, a great price-tag, made even better with a $50 saving on Best Buy.

Pebble’s new Timeline OS organises your alerts, alarms, reminders, news, apps and messages into chronological order to help you keep track. The smartwatch is both Android and iOS compatible.

Garmin Vivofit 2

The Vivofit 2 doesn’t look all that different to the original, and the feature set isn’t a far cry either, but don’t let you put you off. It’s a more than capable lifestyle tracking device and the reduced $69.99 price tag is more than reasonable.

It packs a two-colour LCD display and the usual array of activity tracking features – step and calorie counting and sleep monitoring. The Vivofit 2 adds audible alerts to the mix as well as a new stopwatch feature, and a backlight to make it easier to see in dimly lit situations.

Withings Activité Pop

You don’t have to slap on a band-style device to get fitness tracking features. Analogue watches with tracking smarts built in are becoming ever more popular and one of the original, and still the best, devices in this genre is the Withings Activité Pop.

Available in three different colours, Amazon has 33 per cent off of the RRP and you can pick one up for just $99.95.

Huawei Watch

The Huawei Watch is, without doubt, one of the slickest Android Wear devices so far – and one of the more female friendly ones too – but the price tag has been a major sticking point. However, Target has 20 per cent off of the price, knocking down the 18mm stainless steel model to $319.99.

It’s one of the first Android Wear smartwatches to officially work with the iPhone and, unlike the popular Moto 360, there’s no ‘flat-tyre’ area at the bottom of the circular display.

Jawbone UP2

The UP3 is also on sale but, for people looking for a great device to kickstart their fitness tracking lifestyle, the UP2 offers a simpler and more affordable path. You don’t get the heart rate tracking tech of its bigger brother but the basics are all there – so that’s step counting, calorie burn, sleep recording and a comprehensive companion app.

The UP2 recently went through a design revamp and the models that Amazon has on sale for less than $70 boast the new, thinner, loop strap.
