“Trash People,” an art exhibit of 500 life-sized figures made from 20 tons of recycled iron, glass, computer parts, cans and industrial waste, stands on Israel’s Hiriya landfill near Tel Aviv, Israel, on Wednesday.
The exhibit, by German artist HA Schult, has been traveling for 18 years around the world, with stops in Paris La Defense, Moscow Red Square, the Great Wall of China, Egypt's Pyramids in Giza, Piazza del Popolo in Rome, Antarctica and now in Israel until April 26.
