Ivanka and Donald Trump shared a particularly awkward moment with one another last week at a H&K Equipment Company event in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania.
After Ivanka finished talking about the administration's planned tax cuts, the US President gave his daughter an open-mouthed kiss on stage - pictures of which have consequently been widely circulated over the internet. A video emerged later showing it was just a simple kiss on the cheek.
However, you can't blame people for feeling embarrassed over the image. Trump has made numerous questionable remarks about his daughter and advisor over the years.
“Yeah, she’s really something, and what a beauty, that one. If I weren't happily married and, ya know, her father..." he told Rolling Stone in 2015.
Perhaps, his creepiest remark made about Ivanka was the below, given in an interview for The View in 2006.
When asked how he'd feel if his daughter were to do a Playboy cover he said, "It would be really disappointing — not really — but it would depend on what's inside the magazine. I don't think Ivanka would do that, although she does have a very nice figure. I've said if Ivanka weren't my daughter, perhaps I'd be dating her. Isn’t that terrible? How terrible? Is that terrible?
