Joey Logano was elated after winning the Can-Am 500 Sunday at Phoenix International Raceway. The win qualified him for the Sprint Cup championship race next Sunday in Homestead.

Logano's happy mood quickly turned to panic, however, when he noticed he'd somehow lost his wedding ring after the race.

To make matters worse, Logano, who married the former Brittany Baca in December 2014, had already lost his original wedding ring. To lose a second wedding ring in less than two years would not have been good, especially given that Brittany was at the race.

“I know I had it before I got out of the car, and I don't know, after that, I was so excited, my hands were wet, and it just kind of slipped, I guess,” Logano told FoxSports.com. “I don't know. I was actually sitting down doing an interview … and I sat down, and I usually play with my ring a lot, and I looked and I said, ‘Oh, no, my ring is gone. Not again.’”

Thankfully for Logano, a Team Penske teammate found the ring in victory lane.

“It's that same feeling when I lost it the first time,” Logano said. “I was like, ‘Oh, no, my ring is gone.’ But at least we found it this time. That's really cool. That's good.”

If Logano wins his first Sprint Cup championship next Sunday in Homestead, he might want to designate a crew member as an official "ringbearer" after the race.
