The CEO of Pella Corporation has been replaced.

Pella makes commercial and residential windows and doors. It’s a family-owned company. Adam Farver, a descendent of the company’s founder, has been chairman of the board since this spring. He is now serving as interim president and CEO of Pella Corporation.

Pat Meyer — a 25-year-employee of the company — had been CEO since 2009. Meyer is a native of Granger, Iowa, who earned an M.B.A. at Drake University.

According to the company’s website, 6000 people work at Pella Corporation. It has 10 manufacturing plants that make the company’s made-to-order windows and doors. Its corporate headquarters is in Pella, the city where the company was founded.
