How to Replace the Battery in an iPhone 5 [Video]

Posted July 4, 2013 at 5:36pm by iClarified
iFixit has posted a nice video detailing the steps necessary to replace the battery in the iPhone 5.

I was right in the middle of putting an awesome filter on my latest Instagram when my iPhone 5 died. Of course I was devastated, because lets face it, how else will my friends know what it looks like outside today. This is becoming a frustrating trend with my phone so I think its time for a new battery. This video will give you an overview of replacing the Battery in your iPhone 5.

Take a look below...

Lol just re read my comment, my iPhone 5 gold battery last 15-17hrs of a single charge with my 2680mah gold battery

Also for those wanting a battery that will actually make a difference in usage time. I just put a gold 2680mah battery in my iPhone 5 which has about 13gb (my iphone is 64gb btw, to clear up some confusion) or so of jailbreak data which compromised my battery life a bit (went from 12-14 to 10-12 hrs.). Now I get an average of about 15-12hrs. Of battery life on a single full charge. Definitely worth the $11 I paid for it:D

Good to know because the iPhone battery is $h!t. It lasts very little when you actually use the phone for a while.

So what about the 100s of other videos demoing the exact same thing? But then ifixit post a video of it and now iclarified emphasizes it like there isn't any other vids that will show the same thing.
