iPhone: Tracking budgets and finances isn't really supposed to be fun, but Pennies is an app that makes the process a little more bearable by using intuitive gestures and a bright color scheme.
At its core, Pennies is a simple budget tracker where you can create budgets, track spending history, set daily spending targets, and add recurring expenses. What sets Pennies apart is how it actually displays all that data. Instead of graphs, Pennies just uses a big list with color codes for each expense. Likewise, entering in a new expense takes just a couple of quick swipes. As you'd probably expect from the look of the app, Pennies isn't really suited for anyone who loves complicated charts and in-depth analysis, but for the rest of us, Pennies does a good job of simplifying budget tracking.
