This Week at Neatorama

This past week has been full of excitement over the opening of Major League Baseball, but March Madness continues in April. I am surprised but proud and pleased that the UK Wildcats are in the Final Four, despite being seeded #8 in the tournament. They play Wisconsin late tonight, after Florida vs. Connecticut. The past week at Neatorama has been full of baseball, April Fools, The Walking Dead withdrawal, and Game of Thrones excitement -the new season begins tomorrow night. And a big look at a World Map Made of Coins.

Funny You Should Ask, a scientific study on whether people will have sex with strangers, was from The Annals of Improbable Research.

And 4 Gertrudes Who Changed the World took a look at some fascinating women in history, courtesy of mental_floss magazine.

We took a poll to see Who Will Die in the Season Finale of The Walking Dead? in your opinion. Without giving anything away, I can say that we were altogether even more wrong than in last years poll!

Hy Conrad's Whodunit this week was The Dying Clue. Did you figure it out?

In this week’s What Is It? game, the mystery item is a chain breaker, or chain detacher. There’s more about it at the What Is It? blog. Meanwhile, we had a lot of wrong but funny answers here in the game! Andrew Dalke had a clever answer (a reader favorite with 5 ♥s), “It's for grooming the sheep that make steel wool.” That’s a winning answer, but unfortunately, he did not select a t-shirt. StilesJM 1 also had a good answer, it’s “Salvador Dali's salad fork.” That’s certainly worth a t-shirt from the NeatoShop!
