I’ve spent the last eight years of my life living in The Sphere, which was one known as Los Angeles. Of course, that was when it was a part of the United States before The Fall. The Sphere is the only home I’ve ever known. The Sphere sanctifies that when a member of society turns eighteen, upon their eighteenth birthday or up to a month after wards, they’re extended an invitation to join another Sector of the city. They don’t have to accept the invitation, we are free to choose to stay with our families and the Sector we were born into. Each Sector has its purpose and everyone has a job. An invitation will come.... But am I prepared for what it holds?
