Apple’s iPhone 5s is Still the Top Selling Smartphone in the U.S.

AppleInsider:

The Cupertino, Calif.-based company remained America’s top smartphone vendor in November on the back of ‘strong’ iPhone 5s sales and ‘steady’ iPhone 5c sales, according to data cited by Canaccord Genuity analyst T. Michael Walkley in a Thursday note to investors.

Samsung grabbed second-place, as sales consolidation continues to be the trend in the smartphone industry.

Prior to the release of Apple’s two current smartphone models, Apple, Samsung, HTC, Nokia, Sony, and Motorola all had handsets selling in the top three at at least one of the four major U.S. wireless carriers. Now, all but Samsung have been pushed from the top sales tiers.
