What's not to like about Piet Mondrian. It's elemental. I always think of life before Mondrian - while it looks so cliched to our modern eyes. Mondrian's images remind me of the first humans scratching images on a cave wall. Not only were they both inventing the image itself, but they were inventing the language of imagery.
