Microscopy: During lab activities, as a group we were assigned to observe and utilize a microscope. Before, I did not understand how to focus the lens onto the item that we were observing. With instructions, using a microscope was very simple. Microscopes allowed us to see the item very clearly rather than looking with our naked eye. In this lab, we used a microscope to zoom in to see each of the cells. We were able to observe each one of them and distinguish which one was in prophase, metaphase, anaphase, telophase, and interphase.
