It's so hard to believe, but Kate Moss, aka one of our all-time favorite muses, turns the big 4-0 on January 16th. Since she began modeling at just 14, her action-packed career has been built on her effortless ability to set the fashion world on fire. Thus, it should come as no surprise that her life would be perfect fodder for an upcoming documentary. It was announced yesterday that the film, titled Looking for Kate, will air on French television channel Paris premiere on January 12th. It will include first-hand accounts from such industry bigs as photographer Peter Lindbergh, Isabel Marant, and David Ross, who photographed Moss at 16, and the movie will focus on some of the "darker aspects" of the model's life and career, according to the Telegraph.

Now, the movie will be premiering exclusively in France, and while my devotion to Moss is such that I would be entirely willing to pack up and go to Paris just to view Looking for Kate (in the name of the job, of course!), those of us stateside might have to anxiously wait for an air date here (or frantically find an online outlet to live stream it). But while we wait on tenterhooks for our Moss fix, we'd like to note some things that we're hoping will be covered in the new doc.

Oh, these two. They were the Kurt and Courtney of the '90s fashion set, and we sometime romanticize about their doomed, on-again-off-again, four-year relationship as the most perfect pairing that could never be. It became quite clear that the rest of the world felt the same way when Paul McCartney invited the two to "reunite" for a new video late last year: I penned an ode, and the internet exploded.

I want to see pictures of Kate Moss the toddler, Kate Moss the little kid, etc. In a non-creepy way, I swear. There's something amazing about seeing celebs when they're young, knowing that you're catching them at that time before they're famous. But even though they haven't gotten to that point yet, you can still see that there's something precocious about them that comes across in an old photo.

My life changed when I saw Alexander McQueen's posthumous exhibition at The Metropolitan Museum of Art a few years ago. But amidst all the incredible designs of the late genius, a hallmark moment in the exhibit was the video of Moss as a hologram in his fall 2006 runway show. The two were famously close, and that theatrical non-appearance of Moss was McQueen's tribute to the model while she experienced backlash for her cocaine scandal. John Galliano is still facing backlash for the anti-Semitic outburst that lost him his job at Dior, but Moss has quietly been championing his comeback: He designer the dress for her 2011 wedding to Jamie Hince.

We can't forget that Moss is a mom! It would be amazing to see her interact with daughter Lila Grace (age 11), and husband Jamie Hince (of The Kills). Oh, and footage of her flawless wedding would be much appreciated.

We have paid witness to countless incredible pictures of Moss during the span of her career, but it would be amazing to see the process behind the magic. I want to see the model as she poses. Or, in other words, I want to see what the secret is to being perhaps the most iconic model in the world.
