"Merry Christmas, boss man."

That was the message the employees of Front Row Motorsports delivered to team owner Bob Jenkins on Monday morning when they presented a fully restored version of the car David Ragan took to victory lane in May 2013 at Talladega Superspeedway.

The triumph, the first in team history, was a one-two finish for the team, with David Gilliland pushing Ragan past Carl Edwards on the final lap. Front Row made its Cup Series debut in 2005 and spent much of the next decade as a backmarker.

But Jenkins and GM Jerry Freeze kept investing into their Ford program and turned it into a winner that afternoon. And last season, Chris Buescher took the team to victory lane at Pocono Raceway.

Jenkins thought the car had been completely scrapped. That wasn’t the case, however, and the team worked to restore it over the past several weeks. Ragan spent the past two years with Toyota teams Joe Gibbs Racing, Michael Waltrip Racing and BK Racing, but he announced his return to Front Row last week.
