Problem concerning releasing information The real problem is now becoming what information we post online and where we put it. The more important information: social insurance numbers, license and health numbers or banking information, is more valuable information on its own, raising the risk from the start, regardless of what or where it it used. “With privacy concern, the focus is on the concerns that individuals have about who have access to their private information and how such information will be used”(Tan, Quin, 2012). Users and consumers are becoming more and more aware of not only what information is getting taken from them, but also how it is used. Is the information really that "privately" protected if it is in an online database, despite it being a bank – social insurance and licensing information are already valued at a higher risk.
