"Lovely Emma Gierson, Boston, Massachusetts 1878 - Rare Photo" Even though the emulsion coating on this Daguerreotype photo is deteriorating, the lovely beauty of this child shines through. Hand coloured blue eyes which were actually blue in real life with rose painted lips. The portrait is the only one known to exist. - Abbie Stewart
