Expert claims 'recent discoveries' prove historical accuracy of the Bible
A new book hopes to settle a centuries old debate regarding the historical validity of the bible.
Experts seemingly constantly debate the accuracy of the bible, with some arguing that Jesus of Nazareth was never Resurrected, or even ever existed.
Well, Dr. Brant Pitre, the bestselling author of Jesus and the "Jewish Roots of the Eucharist," claims to provide in his new book the "most effective weapon" against skeptics toward the Gospels.

In "The Case for Jesus" Pitre digs into the biblical and historical evidence of Jesus Christ to answer some major questions: Were the four Gospels really anonymous? Are the Gospels folklore? Or are they biographies? Were the four Gospels written too late to be reliable? Did Jesus claim to be God? What is the evidence for the Resurrection?
Pitre details what he calls "recent discoveries in New Testament scholarship" that help to answer these questions, and claims to "pull the rug out from under a century of skepticism." The author also reveals how the bible can "only be understood."
