Revealed this past week at CES 2016, Nikon’s D5 is the company’s new flagship DSLR with a 20.3-megapixel full-frame sensor, and a hefty $6,500 price tag. But watching this video of the camera’s new 12 frames-per-second, 153-point autofocus system in action will still make you lust for one.
The folks at DCFever spent some quality time with the new DSLR while at CES and shot a video, through the D5's viewfinder, of it shooting and instantly autofocusing at a blazing 12 frames-per-second. It only starts to slow down once the new camera’s massive buffer reaches its max capacity of 200 14-bit lossless RAW + JPG files.
Few of us will be able to justify the cost of this beast when it arrives in March, but that’s not going to stop us from desperately wanting one.
