Here's Sin City: A Dame to Kill For Without Any Visual Effects

Sin City: A Dame to Kill For is one of those films that is nothing without its effects. Its whole style relies on visual effects added after filming took place. Which is why it has an unusually hilarious b-roll.

For my money, the best part is found around the 1:05 mark in the video above, where we watch a maid stand in a completely empty green room, dusting non-existent objects.

When you add in the fact that all of this footage was shot a year before the film was even able to find an effects house to take on the task of removing all that green and the lukewarm at best reviews, it becomes slightly tragic. Or farcical, depending on your mood.
