It has been a weird month for the Golden State Warriors, and nothing encapsulates their losing streak more than being down against the Philadelphia 76ers. It’s not that the Warriors were down a few points to Philly; they ere uncharacteristically being dominated by a team that’s had one of the worst winning percentages in the league as of late.
The game was all but decided in the third, or at least we thought. Then Stephen Curry decided to pull this out, putting Nik Stausaks on skates and maneuvering his way for an easy one-footed runner. Tuesday was Curry’ birthday, so let’s blame the Warriors’ previous three quarters on birthday cake.
