In 2015, when Princess Charlotte was born, one of the most thrilling moments of the proceedings for royal-watchers took place when Prince George arrived with father William, at the hospital, to visit his new baby sister. George waved animatedly for the photographers and it was one of the more adorable royal family moments in recent memory.

This year, it was Charlotte’s turn to have a winning photo-op moment for the cameras, as she and brother George arrived at the Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s hospital with their father this afternoon, following the birth. While George entered the building somewhat stoically, keeping his gaze locked forward as he made his way into the building, Charlotte waved enthusiastically to reporters for nearly the entire procession into the hospital, with a beaming smile. The two-year-old, who will turn three on May 2, had been at Kensington Palace when the new baby arrived, while George had been at school when his new brother was born.

Prince William, who had been with Kate for the birth, left the hospital to collect the children in the afternoon, telling reporters “Back in a minute!” Per the Palace, George and Charlotte have already returned to their home at Kensington Palace. Kate and William will be leaving the hospital today and returning home with their new son. The boy—whose name still remains a mystery—is the fifth in line to the throne, right behind his grandfather, father, and older brother and sister. We will likely get our first glimpse of Royal Baby Jayden (our best guess for his name) when he emerges with his parents from the hospital this evening.
