Abbie is a 16-year-old One Direction fan from Elgin, Scotland. She has a rare form of cancer known as clear cell sarcoma. Like most teenagers who love One Direction, she's always wanted to meet the boys in the band, especially Harry. Thanks to a charity, she got her wish and got an incredible gift from her favorite singer as well, the Evening Standard reports.
With the help of Rays of Sunshine, Abbie was sent to a One Direction concert in London last week. Not only did she get to go backstage to meet the band, when Harry met her he surprised her with a gorgeous diamond pendant.
Needless to say she was completely stunned by the touching gift. On her Instagram, she described more about the memorable meeting.
Abbie said this year wasn't an easy year for her but meeting One Direction made a huge difference. "It was such an amazing experience meeting them and having my photo took with them," she said. "Just when I thought the day couldn't get any better I was taken backstage and I met Harry privately where he gave me a beautiful diamond heart shaped necklace."

"I still can't believe what has happened as it was the most surreal experience ever but by far one of the best days of my life," Abbie said.
