Have You Tried the Best Foods at Disney World? We Made You a Complete List
You know the mouse doesn't skimp on food!
It’s pretty much assumed that a trip to Disney World will be a magical experience with the parks, rides, parades, and food. However, unless you stumble upon them, you might be missing out on some of the park’s most beloved signature snacks! These are the Disney World foods you definitely need to try ... if they’re not already your favorite.
Waffle Sandwich in Magic Kingdom
In Liberty Square, there’s a waffle sandwich that's so delicious, you’ll probably go back to get another. It’s called the Nutella and Fresh Fruit Waffle Sandwich. It doesn't sound that special, but when you're holding your waffle covered in Nutella and topped with strawberry and banana pieces, your mouth will water.
Night Blossom Drink in Animal Kingdom
Head to the new Pandora — The World of Avatar in Animal Kingdom and get yourself the Night Blossom at Pongu Pongu. The fruit flavors will be the perfect refresher after a hot day, and you’ll love the boba balls that sit on top.
Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Bar
You’d be surprised to learn that the Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Bar is one of the most popular snacks in the land. It’s available throughout all four parks at various concession stands, so it's easy to grab on the way to the next ride. The Mickey-shaped vanilla ice cream bar dipped in chocolate is simple, but it's so, so good!
Tarte aux Fraises in Epcot
When you’re at Epcot, head to the France Pavilion and go to Les Halles Boulangerie & Patisserie. The Tarte aux Fraises has a flaky pie crust bottom with vanilla cream, and it's topped with sugar-glazed strawberries. So. Good.
School Bread in Epcot
You’ll probably head to the Norway Pavilion when you’re at Epcot to check out the latest attraction, Frozen Ever After. Get the School Bread (Skolebrød) at the Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe. It’s a traditional Norwegian sweet roll filled with custard and icing, topped with grated coconut.
*Through summer 2018, the Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe is closed for refurbishment, but you can find the school bread at the Midnattsol Bakeri nearby.
Napoleon in Hollywood Studios
You might need a buddy to conquer this whole plate. Funnel cake is topped with vanilla ice cream and crushed Oreo cookies, then drizzled with chocolate sauce. It's the perfect sugar recharge after a day in Hollywood Studios.
LeFou’s Brew in Magic Kindom
Even though no one drinks like Gaston, you can still pretend, thanks to LeFou’s Brew at Gaston’s Tavern in Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom. The frozen apple juice with a hint of marshmallow is topped with a passion fruit/mango foam that resembles a light ale without giving you a buzz. The souvenir cup will make you want to link arms with everyone and belt “Gaston” as you sway back and forth.
The Turkey Leg
This wouldn’t be a true “Best Disney Foods” list without the famous Turkey Leg. You can find the signature snack at stands throughout all four parks. On average, one leg weighs a pound and a half, so it's definitely big enough to share.
Peter Pan Float in Magic Kingdom
You’ll want to try this new float in Magic Kingdom. It's key lime soft serve with Sprite and a chocolate red feather.
Super Stretchy Burger in Magic Kingdom
Inspired by Mrs. Incredible, the Super Stretchy Burger — sold at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café — is piled high with mozzarella sticks. It’s no surprise how amazing they’ll taste on the flame-grilled angus beef patty with American cheese, bacon, and garlic ranch sauce. To top it off, there’s an Incredibles logo imprinted on top of the bun.
Napoleon in Hollywood Studios
Three thin, flaky layers of puff pastry with rich vanilla pastry cream and icing on top are what make this classic at the Trolley Car Café in Hollywood Studios so mouth-watering.
Slow-Roasted Sliced Grilled Beef Bowl in Animal Kingdom
You really need to check out the new Avatar expansion during your next Disney World visit — not only for the rides, but for the food! Once you’ve built up an appetite, head to the Satu’li Canteen dining area and get the slow-roasted Sliced Grilled Beef bowl. It’s on the healthier side — perfect for anyone with a gluten, egg, fish, milk, or peanut allergy — and it comes with a side of greens or rice and crunchy vegetables.
Dole Whip in Magic Kingdom
If you haven’t had the Dole Whip — or the Dole Whip Float, which some Dole Whip devotees prefer — then you can’t judge. The non-dairy, soft-serve frozen treat, served in a cup or glass of pineapple juice, has been around for many, many years in Magic Kingdom’s Adventure Land, and Disney fanatics love it. Trust us, once you have one, you’ll see what the buzz is about.
Cheshire Cat Tail in Magic Kingdom
You’ll find this colorful dessert at the Cheshire Cafe. The pastry is stuffed with a cream filling and chocolate chips, and it’s just as tasty as it looks.
Carrot Cake Cookie in Hollywood Studios
Cream cheese icing smushed between two carrot cake cookies … yes, please! These Hollywood Studio signature treats were originally sold at Sweet Spells. To make way for the new Pixar Land, Sweet Spells closed down, but you’re still able to get your hands on this sweet treat at the Trolley Car Cafe on Hollywood Boulevard.
Baked Lobster Macaroni 'n Cheese in Animal Kingdom
The lobster mac ’n cheese is delicious. When the temperature is right and you’re not melting from standing in the sun all day, this dish will hit the spot. Located in Animal Kingdom at the Eight Spoon Cafe, you'll find it's perfectly balanced with both cheese and chunks of lobster.
Millennial Pink Milkshake in Magic Kingdom
Snap a pic before you slurp down this delicious strawberry milkshake topped with cotton candy and a Mickey-shaped marshmallow. It's served at Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies.
Bratwurst in Epcot
At Sommerfest in the Germany Pavilion, you can order Bratwurst on a roll that'll have you thinking you’re actually in Germany. With a side of paprika-curry chips, you’ll be completely satisfied. If you love sauerkraut, be sure to have them throw some on top!
Croissant Doughnut in Epcot
The Cronut craze started thanks to Dominique Ansel Bakery in New York City. Unfortunately, they trademarked the name, so Disney’s version is called the Croissant Doughnut. The Refreshment Port in Epcot makes them throughout the day to ensure the perfect texture and flakiness. These sugary snacks are not to missed. You can even get a swirl of ice cream on top!
