It's like Sarah Jessica Parker carries around this little card in her wallet that announces the bearer can officially do no fashion wrong. We so closely associate her with madcap, uber-trendy Carrie Bradshaw that she could wear, like, a shoe box on her head and we'd all just sigh and think how much we love her. Her latest look wasn't that crazy, but it was definitely something I haven't seen on the red carpet in a while: the fanny pack.
For a New York City event, she accessorized a formal, full-skirted black dress with an actual fanny pack, though she avoided a hefty, ready-to-hike style with one from Chanel. As a fan of the hands-free bag, I get it—she probably wanted to shake hands, hold a wineglass, and sample passed hors d'oeuvres without juggling a clutch (that's the worst).
I'm especially happy to see her carrying (or not carrying—hah!) the trend over to fall because it was one of the "ugly" summer trends I said I'd never stop loving.
