Jesus was a bastard !

Mary magladene sucked and fucked Jesus and his disciples !

Jesus usually gives blowjobs when he gets defeated by his enemies during street fights !

Jesus and Mary did a 69 after which his disciples gangbanged Mary on all her holes in the middle of the street

After seeing all these things the angered king crucified Jesus and thrusted Mary's mouth with cocks of all his soldiers ! Finally She died from semen blood cancer !

Thank you Rajiv Ji,

I never knew that such types of people exist! Not in the Academic world! Such distortion and rubbish is unacceptable. RISA Lila 1 and 2 has opened my eyes. Namaskar.

glad that what we only suspected to be true - a concerted effort to denigrate and belittle Hinduism, in a manner totally alien to how we Hindus have been experiencing it - is finally being challenged. Freud is dead, marginally relevant (?!), laughed at, yet he is being used to attack Hinduism in a vicious and absurd manner by scholars(?) like Wendy Doniger and her disciples. Why attempt a "scholarly" work if it does not ennoble humanity? Good job by Rajiv Malhotra!!

Thank you Rajiv Malhotraji for such clear vision on our dharma and other religions. The means and way of denigrating such a rich culture. It all originates from the exclusivity claimed, fixing nature west posses, inherited. As your have pointed out purba-paksha is needed to be improved within us. We have to educate & safeguard our culture, our freedom in thinking etc.

In a way it is sorrowful that educated Indians have chosen English as their lingua-franca.
We look to English translations. Many Westerners (scholars especially) were over-driven
by the sex angle (fantasies,
In Tamil we have a word meaning, "poking through shit" and that is what Wendy D has resorted
to against Sri Ramakrishna Pramahamsa (who had epilepsy) noted for his penetrating
insight to "parabalize" our culture and religion. One should read them insted.
One has to associate her and her creed with Sishupala, a mythic character of Mahabhrata,
or Ravana in Ramyana. An intelligent ICS Indian judge (1930') put it simply that they could not accomplish much. Wendy D is a passing phase. Not giving her publicity is the best
solution, "Mother India" died naturally;
U of Chicago also had professors Ryder, Van Buitenen and Ramnujan in its ranks.

Nice expose' on the corruption and self-serving hypocrisy that is pervasive not just in Western "Hindu Studies" but also generally in Western academia. I saw this first hand when I got my Ph.D. at Berkeley - where one is wont to run into "Indologists", who as you described perfectly were hippie wastrels, not terribly smart or well-educated, who through Brownian motion ended up in their field. One criticism, however, I will offer is of your quote from Prof. Sil about "free markets and democracy" being on a par with the neocolonialism of such intellectual midgets as Wendy Bahadur's Children: I must vehemently disagree. Free markets, including free markets for thought and scholarship are precisely what will defeat these self-appointed dalals of interpretation. I cannot wait for the day when the massive government subsidized Marxist endeavor that is higher education in the West is overtaken by Internet based education and these apparatchiks will actually have to prove themselves worthy of a job, any job.

Dear sir, A great article. Pranam to you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for opening the the eyes of ordinary hindu like me who is ignorant of sinister motive behind all this scholarship .
This quote in your article tells all

"Yet, beneath their bonhomie and academic garb (empathy, postmodernist skepticism of positivist knowledge, etc), they are tough customers who mean business, literally as well as metaphorically. This business, alas, echoes the agenda of their simple hearted and minded forbears: to relegate a pagan faith of a distant disturbed land to exoticism and esoterism to affirm its “otherness” and at the same time, in contrast to the earlier mission of conversion of souls, make a name and also some bucks along the way by aligning the distant “other” with the normalized and socialized “others” of their own culture. The 'Iila' of this academic market economy as played out"

Long life to you sir.
In medieval ages, Hindu monks protected hinduism from total annihilation and extinction.
In this modern age Hinduism depends on scholars like you to protect from these new breed of invaders.
