We're making good progress. I've opted to convert the table into a console table, by removing the extra leaves. The top has been sanded to remove the worse of the marks that have built up over the years. It's the been treated with teak oil, which helps to emphasise the natural grain in the wood. The legs have been painted in Annie Sloan French Linen, lightly distressed and waxed with a clear beeswax. I'll wax the top in a few days, once the oily reside disappears.
