Jennifer Lopez has had quite the week. This past Tuesday, it was announced that the entertainer would be receiving for the MTV Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award for her iconic music videos. (“If You Had My Love,” anyone?)
It seems Lopez is happy with the news, and it shows sartorially: Today, in New York City, she opted for a cheerful, vacation-ready tropical look. (Think the balmy aesthetics of “Love Don’t Cost a Thing”). The entertainer stepped out in a floral-print turtleneck with shocks of red and green paired with wide-leg, high-waist white trousers and a Chanel belt that boasted a gold double-C buckle.
It’s just one of the many bold looks that Lopez has been showing off this week. On Tuesday, the star sported a daring outfit that consisted of a white button-down shirt and slouchy denim over-the-knee Versace boots worn in lieu of pants.
Then, yesterday, Lopez showed off her firm 6-pack in a sports bra and multicolored snake-print leggings, topping off the athletic get-up with her signature black Hermés Birkin bag. Leave it to this icon to make even athleisure look fit for a diva.
