Lot #21641

This 2000 Toyota Tacoma is a regular-cab 4×4 pickup which was purchased by the seller from Michael’s Toyota of Bellevue, Washington in June 2000, and has been driven 66k miles on skiing, camping, and cycling trips across the Western US. The truck is finished in Natural White over gray cloth bucket seats, and power comes from a 2.7-liter DOHC inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case. Modifications include a drop-in bed liner, a Class III receiver hitch, and a bed cap with a gray headliner. This Tacoma is offered with service records, factory literature, a window sticker, a Carfax report, and a clean Washington State title in the seller’s name.

The Natural White paint is accented with chrome bumpers and wheel arch moldings. The seller says that the right quarter panel was repainted following a brush with a parking garage pillar in 2007, and the tailgate was refinished in 2008 after the body shop installed the rear bumper too high. A Leer 100R bed cap installed in May 2005 features a gray fabric headliner, retractable clothes hangers, a third brake light, sliding windows with screens, and mounts for roof accessories. The dome light needs a new cover, and a rubber gasket has worn away the paint on the passenger-side top of the tailgate. An exterior walk-around video can be seen here.

Additional modifications include a Toyota over-the-rails bed liner, and a Draw-Tite Class III 2″ receiver hitch. A flexible whip antenna is installed in place of the factory unit, which will be included with the sale. Stock 15″ alloy wheels were mounted with new Toyo Open Country A/T II tires in January 2019 at approximately 66k miles. Chips in the front end and pitting on the wheels are shown in the gallery below. The seller included two interior videos viewable here and here.

The gray cab features cloth-upholstered bucket seats separated by a center console. Matching carpets are protected by vinyl floor mats. Factory equipment includes an AM/FM/cassette stereo, air conditioning, dual 12V power ports, and grab handles. The digital odometer shows approximately 66k miles.

One-Owner 2000 Toyota Tacoma 4x4

The 2.7-liter dual overhead-cam four drives the rear or all four wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case. Manually-locking Aisin hubs are fitted up front. An oil change was performed in February 2019. A cold-start video can be seen here.

Les Schwab monotube rear shocks were installed in March 2013 and replaced under warranty in January 2019, while Wheeler Off-Road five-leaf rear springs were fitted in December 2008. Additional underside photos are provided in the gallery to show the suspension, frame, underside corrosion, and driveline.

The window sticker shows that the truck was equipped with the optional All Weather Guard and Value packages as well as a tachometer for a total MSRP of just over $18k when new.

The June 2019 Carfax report shows Washington registration history between 2000 and 2018. The sale includes service records, factory literature, and brochures.
