It might not feel like it at the moment, but summer will be here before we know it. And with summer comes all the fun food stuff you can do outdoors, like picnics, cookouts, and shrimp boils.

Typically a shrimp boil is cooked in a large stockpot and then poured out onto a newspaper-covered table where everyone just goes for it and helps themselves. It’s extremely fun, and extremely messy.

So it’s no wonder this sheet pan shrimp boil from Damn Delicious is so popular on Pinterest. The recipe has been saved 302,000 times on the social platform — and for good reason! It’s a less messy approach to a shrimp boil with all the same great flavor.

It’s worth nothing that this meal isn’t entirely made on one sheet pan, as you first need to par-boil the baby potatoes and corn cobs on the stove. Once you’ve done that, though, you simply place the potatoes and corn on the sheet pan, along with some raw shrimp and sliced smoked andouille sausage, and pour over a mixture of melted butter, garlic, and Old Bay seasoning.

Then you just bake until the shrimp is cooked through, garnish with some lemon and parsley, and dig in!

This is perfect for a small gathering with close friends who don’t mind a more casual meal. Pair with some cold beer and good music and summer might just feel a tiny bit closer.
