The beauty added that acting is now her main focus over modelling and she hopes to continue a film career.

Andreja told the publication: 'I'm having more fun with acting, it's stimulating me more'.

Speaking to Vogue Britain last year, the model revealed how well she was treated on the film's set in Berlin.

She said: 'I had a trailer, I had an assistant, I got the choice between warm clothes or light clothes.

'I got offered tea, blankets, hand-warmers. I've shot swimwear on a beach in winter and not been offered a towel!' she added.

The transgender star also told the magazine that acting became a therapeutic outlet for her when her career stalled.

'My modelling career took a dip and I felt I was losing everything,' she said, adding that acting helped her process feelings about her gender transition and fleeing her homeland as a child.

'I started taking acting classes to open me up emotionally at a very low point in my life, and it ended up being something I could channel my trauma,' she said.

Andreja's life has been far from ordinary, having arrived in Australia from war-torn Serbia in 2000, when she was just eight-years-old.

She had fled with her mother and older brother Igor Pejić to Melbourne, after having been accepted for immigration into Australia as political refugees.

Life turned around for the beauty when at the age of 16, Andreja was scouted by a modelling agent when working at a local McDonald's.

She became the first androgynous supermodel before coming out as a transgender woman in 2013.
