Nio Signs Up Sixth Automaker to Battery Swapping Alliance

Chinese electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer Nio Inc. has expanded its collaboration network by signing an agreement with state-owned Guangzhou Automobile Group Co. Ltd. (GAC). This partnership marks the sixth automaker alliance for Nio, aimed at enhancing the development and operation of battery swapping stations and charging facilities across China [para. 1][para. 2].

Under this new agreement, GAC will integrate into Nio's existing network, which will allow them to bypass the costly and time-consuming process of developing their own infrastructure.
