This is what the Samsung Galaxy S20 series looks like.
Samsung Galaxy S20 Series Leaked Images Leave Nothing To Imagination

The Samsung Galaxy S20 series is shaping up to be one of the most exciting launches in the coming months. Constant mentions of the series in the last few weeks, thanks to leaks and tips, has built up considerable hype. Now, courtesy of renowned leaker Roland Quandt, we have the official Samsung marketing images of the Samsung Galaxy S20, Samsung Galaxy S20+ and the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra.

Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra

This is the first time we’re getting a good look at what the top-end S20 will look like. Although the marketing images are quite similar to what we saw with early leaked renders, they give a much better impression of Samsung’s design. Unlike previous unofficial renders, the camera module that houses the periscope sensor with 100X zoom capabilities and a 108MP sensor looks quite neat.

The camera module has a dual-tone design that separates the periscope lens from the other sensors. The cluster above the periscope sensors consists of a quad-camera setup that consists of a 12MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide sensor, a 48MP telephoto sensor and a ToF sensor. An LED flash also sits in this housing.

The phone seems to have a 2.5D glass rather than the 3D glass that we’ve seen on Samsung flagships in recent years. In terms of colours, there are three colourways of Cosmic Black, Cosmic Grey and Cosmic Blue. Also, it seems like the glass will have a matte finish like the iPhone 11 Pro series.

Samsung Galaxy S20+

The Galaxy S20+ follows the same design language but has some distinct changes. The rectangular camera module on the Galaxy S20+ is slimmer than the one found on the Ultra. This camera module houses a quad-camera setup that is said to consist of a 12-megapixel primary sensor, a 64-megapixel telephoto unit, a 12-megapixel ultrawide sensor, and a ToF sensor.

The phone is also said come in three colourways, the same as the S20 Ultra. But the renders that have been shared online only showcase the phone in Cosmic Black and Cosmic Grey. The S20+ too makes use of a 2.5D display.

Samsung Galaxy S20

The Galaxy S20 looks exactly like the Samsung Galaxy S20 with only one major difference. The camera module at the back only houses three camera sensors instead of the quad-camera setup that’s found on the Galaxy S20+. The only missing sensor here is the ToF sensor.

But interestingly, the leaked marketing images of the Galaxy S20 showcase an additional colour that might be exclusive to the S20. The phone will also be available in a Rose Gold colourway that’s very reminiscent of the Rose Gold colour that Apple introduced with the iPhone 7. Apart from the Rose Gold colours, leaked marketing images show colours of Cosmic Blue and Cosmic Grey.

One interesting change in hardware, on all three phones, is the absence of the Bixby key. The Bixby key was first introduced on the Samsung Galaxy S8 series and had ever since received a lot of flak due to Bixby not taking off as Samsung expected it to. This leaves the left side of all three phones blank. Both the power button and the volume rocker now sit on the right side of the phones.
