CLEVELAND, Ohio – Cleveland’s Funniest Pet Video contest kicked off Monday afternoon and nearly 1,000 votes have been cast for the 12 animals competing for the title.
Take a break from what you’re doing and watch these lovable pets in the montage video below, then scroll down to the poll to vote for the animal you want to win. It’s a tight race with three dogs and one cat clustered near the top.
As of 11:50 a.m. Tuesday, Dave is in the lead with 18.2% of the votes, followed by Louie (Shepard) with 16.9%, Aspen with 15.7% and Mr. Chow with 13.2%. Let’s not forget our adorable friends trailing the leading pack. Show them some love and support too. We invite you to vote hourly through Friday at 10 a.m.
The 12 finalists consist of nine dogs, two cats and one gerbil. Their pet parents caught them on video in moments that are sure to put a smile on your face.
After you watch this video we ask that you vote for the pet you think had the funniest clip by voting in the poll below. The pets appear in alphabetical order in both the montage video and the poll, which includes photos to help you identify the animals. Votes must come from the United States. To add suspense, voting results will be hidden for the final 24 hours.
We will tabulate the votes Friday and announce the winner of Cleveland’s Funniest Pet Video contest on Friday afternoon.
