Adele has been seen studying the script for her Saturday Night Live hosting debut, in a post shared by the singer on Instagram.
The 32-year-old Grammy Award winning singer wore a mask in the intimate photo at Manhattan's 30 Rockefeller Plaza as she gave a behind-the-scenes preview.
London-born Adele had announced the news of her appearance on the NBC comedy show on Instagram, when she wrote at the weekend: "Bloooooody hellllll I'm so excited about this! And also absolutely terrified!
"My first ever hosting gig and for SNL of all things!"
She told her 151 million followers last Sunday: "I've always wanted to do it as a stand alone moment, so that I could roll up my sleeves and fully throw myself into it, but the time has never been right.
"But if there was ever a time for any of us to jump head first into the deep end with our eyes closed and hope for the best it's 2020 right?"
Adele has now shown that she is studying hard ahead of her appearance and told fans in the caption: "3 days to go".
It has been almost 12 years since she was originally musical guest on the NBC sketch show, with Josh Brolin hosting the show.
This time it will be Adele on hosting duties and H.E.R. as the musical guest, which has led to lot of Adele's fans questioning why she won't be belting out a tune.
After Adele was announced as show host, many took to Twitter to question the decision and raise concerns about why she won't perform again.
One fan asked why she was only hosting: "Wait. Adele’s in SNL, but she’s not singing? What’s even the point of that?"
Another tweeted: "Why is Adele not singing when she does SNL?"
A third added: "Adele is hosting SNL next week and she's Not singing?? Hmmm, not sure how I feel about that."
While a fourth was worried about the situation, tweeting: "You have Adele there and she isn’t singing?!?!"
This will be the first time that Adele's fans will be able to see the results of her reported seven stone loss on TV.
The singer has made huge lifestyle changes after wanting to lose weight to get healthy for her son Angelo, eight.
Her transformation followed her split from her husband Simon Konecki.
