Jessica Mulroney is ready to celebrate again after some “rough months” that saw her accused of “textbook white privilege” and facing rumors she and BFF Meghan Markle were on the outs.
The Canadian stylist, 40, said on social media that she’s found the silver lining in her ordeal, writing “we finally know the a–holes who we thought were our friends.”
She shared the message with a photo on Instagram Friday showing her smooching husband Ben Mulroney, a TV host and the son of Canada’s former prime minister Brian Mulroney.
“After a few rough months, something to FINALLY celebrate,” she wrote. “Thank you for being by my side Benny.
“Thank you to our true friends for sticking by us. We could have never made it without you.”
It’s unclear what the couple was celebrating.
The post came months after Canadian lifestyle blogger Sasha Exeter accused Mulroney in June of “textbook white privilege.”
Exeter claimed Mulroney “took offense” when she encouraged her followers to speak up about the Black Lives Matter movement, “wrongly assumed” the prompt was directed at her specifically, and exhibited “very problematic behavior” that culminated in a written threat.
Mulroney later issued an apology and stepped back from social media. In response to the allegations, “Good Morning America” cut ties with the fashion influencer.
Reports said Markle was “mortified” by the accusations against Mulroney and that the women’s’ years-long friendship was on the rocks.
Last month, Mulroney addressed the speculations she and the Duchess of Sussex were no longer close in an Instagram post she later deleted.
“I’m going to tell this once and for all. Meghan and I are family. She is the kindest friend and has checked up on me every day,” Mulroney wrote.
A source recently told the Daily Mail that Meghan, 39, “has stood by [Mulroney] privately and they’ve talked a lot.”
“Jess was loyal to Meghan for many, many years. There was no way that Meg would let her down,” the source said.
The person added: “Jess was one of the most incredibly supportive people when Meghan was attacked on social media. When the boot was on the other foot, of course, Meg would be there for her friend and confidante.”
